WATCH: HERE’S THE NEW AB FAB MOVIE TRAILER

The plot of the up-coming Ab Fab movie (which we’re getting two months after the rest of the world) has finally been revealed with the release of the film’s latest trailer.

It seems that since we last saw them, Eddy (Jennifer Saunders) and Patsy (Joann Lumley) have not strayed from their endless quest for relevance, fame and celebrity friends.

After they try to land Kate Moss as a client for Eddy’s PR firm, and then accidently kill her, they flee to the South of France, “Where everyone’s a criminal”.

Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie includes a mind-boggling line-up of 60 celebrity stars and cameos, including Kate Moss (of course), Jon Hamm, Jean Paul Gaultier, Gwendoline Christie, Stella McCartney, Barry Humphries (Dame Edna Everage), Graham Norton, Joan Collins and Rebel Wilson.

The rest of the TV’s show’s regular cast is also returning: Julia Sawalha (Saffy), Jane Horrocks (Bubble) and June Whitfield (Mother)

The movie will hit theatres in the UK on 1 July. Shockingly, it’s only set to come out in South Africa on the 7th of October (the distributors seem keen to incentivise South Africa’s gay community to simply download the movie instead).
