Joburg: The 1st Gaymes

An exciting brand new pre-Valentine’s Day celebration!All LGBTI people and their allied friends are urged to come out and play at the first Gaymes event at Constitution Hill in Joburg.
Described as an independent initiative to spread love within the LGBTI community through fun games, the event will feature a host of physical activities.
You can expect hands on head, sack races, Frisbee pass, balloon catch, pass the hat, water shots, the waiter, and more.
Activities will be in teams of six, so you’re welcome to create your own team and name it before you arrive.
There will also be a movie screening, information sharing, an open mic session, a jamming session and a Q&A.
Entry is R50 pp with cooler box or R30 pp without cooler. The dress code is flamboyantly sporty and fun.
Don’t forget to bring a hat, camping chairs and picnic blanket. There’s plenty of safe indoor parking at the venue.

The event is supported by organisations including FEW, OUT LGBT Well-being and Open Closet.
