MAMS PRIDE RETURNS TO MAMELODI

The second LGBTI Mams Pride is taking place in the Tshwane township on Saturday 28 November.

It’s being hosted at Thibo Café, a popular haunt for the LGBTI community in Mamelodi.

The action starts at 1pm and will include food stalls, bucket drinks specials (beer/cider), performers and DJs.

There will also be mobile HIV testing and counselling on offer at the venue. Entry is R20.

The event aims to create a safe social space for LGBTI people and their supporters, build awareness around hate crimes and mobilise LGBTI people to access HIV testing services.
